Credo ebooks can be downloaded in pdf format and should work with all devices.

Printing/Downloading Restrictions

Credo limits printing to chapters only, but there's not a limit on the number of pages that can be printed or copied.

Citations Formats

The citation function is found at the chapter level within Credo. You can retrieve the citation in the following formats (NOTE: editions are not specified by Credo):

  1. APA
  2. Chicago
  3. Harvard
  4. MLA

Citations can be exported to:

  1. EasyBib
  2. NoodleTools
  3. RefWorks
  4. Zotero

Credo Reference Gender and Women's Studies Collection

The USA Libraries have access to 20 titles in the Credo Reference Center. All of these titles cover some aspect of women's and/or gender studies. The easiest way to use this is to just choose All Titles and look for the book that covers the  topic you're interested in.

Using Credo Ebooks

From the landing page for an ebook,  you can access the individual chapters, get more information about the chapters, find out who the contributors are, and search within the book.

Working with Chapters

The chapter level of a Credo book is where you can work with the book and do the following:

  1. Save
  2. Get the citation
  3. Print: here you can download the chapter as a pdf to print or you can export it to Google Drive
  4. Share: here you can choose to email, print the pdf, save to a file, and export to a variety of software options.
  5. Have the chapter read aloud to you
  6. Translate the article into approximately 60 languages
