Sometimes, when trying to connect to our databases, you may get one of the following errors:
To enable cookies on your browser, follow these steps

Sometimes you may find you need to delete cookies already on your system in order to use our databases through our proxy server.
To delete cookies on your browser, follow these steps

Select the General tab | Under History, choose Show Cookies | By Cookies and other website data, click on Remove All Website Data |

Error Message That Cookies Are Disabled Even Though They Have Been Enabled In the Browser
Do you have a personal firewall on your computer? If so, make sure that cookie blocking is set to "none" and that the browser privacy box is unchecked. You can always go back and recheck these later.
Do you have an ad blocking program such as AdSubstract on your computer? If so, these programs may have settings that block cookies. Set the program not to block cookies.
Message That Internet Explorer Has Rejected or Refused to Set a Cookie
If you get a message that IE has rejected or refused to set a cookie, you will also see this privacy icon at the bottom of your screen: . If you double-click that icon, it shows web sites where cookies were recently rejected. You can then double-click on the site and get the option to select "allow this site to use cookies." If you select that and click OK, then reattempt the login, it should clear the cookie issue.
Firewalls and popup blockers can cause you to receive error messages when using library databases. Disable popup blockers while you are using our databases. You can always go back and enable them again for general Internet use.

Ad blocking software may have settings that block cookies. Set the program not to block cookies.
