Affiliated users can be any of the following:
Spouses and children (under age 19) of USA Faculty (A)
Applicant must appear in person and substantiate relationship to a currently employed USA faculty member. Children must present written permission from the faculty parent who assumes responsibility for all financial obligations. Photo ID required.
Current members of the USA Alumni Association (B)
$10.00 annual fee. Current Alumni Association membership card and photo ID required. Lifetime member -- no charge
USA Affiliated patrons (C) who do not receive standard ID cards such as:
Adjunct Faculty (G)
Continuing Education, Clinical, or Adjunct Faculty: Current USA ID or letter of appointment from the University president or chair of the affiliated USA department required. Photo ID required.
Retired USA Faculty and Staff (F)
USA Lifetime Benefit card and photo ID required.
Alabama School of Math and Science Faculty & Studens(F)
Must be included on the library's list of current faculty and students. Photo ID required.

Remote Access to USA-licensed Databases: Not available unless indicated. Only current USA students and employees are eligible for remote access to USA databases. Note: All Alabama school and public libraries offer free Alabama Virtual Library (AVL) access.
Interlibrary Loan: Additional fees ($7.00 per request) may apply.
The University of South Alabama Libraries reserve the right to limit access to the non-USA community, if necessary, in order to give priority service to USA faculty, students, and staff. We also reserve the right to revoke library cards of patrons who abuse their borrowing privileges.
