Mental Health Resources: Depression/Grief

If you are experiencing a crisis...

If you are experiencing a crisis, such as considering suicide or self-harm, call 911 or the National Suicide Prevention hotline at 1-800-273-8255. You can also visit the National Suicide Prevention website, which offers a confidential chat.

You can visit USA Counseling Services during normal office hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday) as a walk-in appointment at Alpha Hall East, Room 326, or you can call the office at (251) 460-7051. During non-business hours, contact the University Police at (251) 460-6312, and they will notify the on-call counselor as appropriate.
