What You Should Know About the Marx Library at USA: A Quick Guide: Printing, Scanning and Copying

Can I print, copy and scan in the library?

Print station and adjacent printer, located on our first floor.

Yes, you can print, copy and scan at the Marx Library. You can upload documents from a personal device, or use one of the Marx Library's computers located on the 1st and 2nd floor. 

Good to know Information 

  • Black and White printing only
  • $0.10 per page, including double sided documents
  • Cash Stations do not give change or refunds
  • Only letter size (8.5'' x 11'') printing is available
  • We do not offer faxing

Printing from Your Personal Device

Submit Print Job(s)

  1. Go to libprint.southalabama.edu
  2. Log in using your Jag ID # and your Jagmail password
  3. Upload your documents

Release Print Job(s)

  1. Go to a print station and log in using your Jag ID # and Jagmail password
  2. Select your jobs and click print

Photocopying

Copying 

  1. Swipe your Jag ID or Guest card in the card reader at the print station
  2. Place documents on the top feeder or open top to lay document (face down) 
  3. Press copy 
  4. Sign out after you’re finished

Scanning

  1. Swipe your Jag ID or Guest card in the card reader at the print station
  2. Place flash drive into the USB drive on front of printer 
  3. Place document(s) on top feeder or open top compartment to lay one page (face down) at a time. 
  4. Sign out after you’re finished
