Data Sources for Business Ph.D. Students: Industry Sources

Industry Trade Associations/Organizations

A good resource for data about an industry are trade organizations/ associations. Sometimes you can find information freely available on their websites. Other times, the data is for member's only. It's worth taking a look, at least to see what sources they are citing. If the research is conducted by a 3rd party, you may be able to contact them directly for access.

If you've tried Google and aren't finding anything promising, try using our Business Insights database.
