This guide was created to complement AN 315 at USA.

What is an Annotated Bibliography?

An annotated bibliography is one of the research products in this course.

An annotated bibliography has two major parts:

  1. The bibliographic citation that you would include for any bibliography.
  2. Text describing the item/article/book and its relevance:
    1. What is the item about? What is its content?
    2. Who is the author? Why do you trust the item?
    3. How is the item relevant to your project? How do you plan to use it.
