About the Exhibit

USA Biomedical Library Hosting Precision Medicine Traveling Exhibit

The University of South Alabama’s Biomedical Library, in collaboration with the Network of the National Library of Medicine (NNLM), has been selected as a pilot host site for the NNLM All of Us Precision Medicine Traveling Exhibit.  The exhibit will be on display in the lobby of the Biomedical Library August 22 – September 23, 2022.

We invite you to visit the exhibit to learn about precision medicine and share your feedback!

USA Health’s All of Us Research program is partnering with the Biomedical Library in hosting the exhibit. The Precision Medicine Traveling Exhibit features information about precision medicine, National Library of Medicine health information resources, and an introduction to the All of Us Research Program.  Learn more about how genetics, lifestyle, and environment affect your health and how you can help shape the future of health for yourself, your family, your community and generations to come.

A presentation about precision medicine by Dr. Errol Crook, Director of USA’s Center for Healthy Communities, is scheduled for Tuesday, August 23rd at 3pm on the second floor of the Biomedical Library. A reception will follow the presentation.

USA Health’s All of Us Research program will host fun and educational activities in the breezeway outside the Biomedical Library September 6 - 9, 2022 from 12pm – 2pm. Spin the wheel, win a prize, and learn how you can help shape the future of medicine!
