Want to learn more about OneSearch? Check out our LibGuide on OneSearch. You can also view tutorials online from EBSCO on how to use OneSearch.
OneSearch is the search bar that you see on the Marx Library home page. OneSearch (also known as EBSCO Discovery Service) is a tool that provides a single search box to simultaneously search many of the libraries' resources, including books, e-books, articles, media, and more.
To get started, we recommend clicking on 'Advanced Search' on the homepage.
Going to the Advanced Search page will give you a series of places to put your keywords. Notice you can add more spaces or take them away. You do not need to use them all; you can leave them blank.
Once here, you can type in your keywords and Boolean operators, or use the drop-down Boolean operators. (Make sure that your Boolean operators are in ALL CAPS.)
Scroll down to see other limiters. Full Text, Peer-review, Date or publication, etc. Choose your limiters and then click on the search button to get your results.
I had 4,474 results for this search.
At the top of the page, you can add more filters. There is an Access Options drop down under each entry where you can choose how to access your article.
