Using the Microfilm Readers

The microfilm reader/printer/scanners are on the 2nd Floor South in the Government Documents area.

Documents on microform can be printed using a TRACcard, or they can be scanned to a user's flash drive.

There are user guides for these machines located next to each machine. These guides are also included below.

Types of Microfilm

There are several types of microforms available in libraries. The Marx Library has two types: microfilm and microfiche.

Identifying Microforms in SOUTHcat

Most of the microforms in the Marx Library, whether film or fiche, have the following location in SOUTHcat:
