AN 355: Gender and Anthropology: Finding Books

This guide is in support of AN 355: Gender and Anthropology at the University of South Alabama.

Finding Books

To find books, e-books, government documents, and non-print media (such as films), use the SOUTHcat catalog. Click here to access SOUTHcat.

1. When you search SOUTHcat, use broad terms. (E.g., "capital punishment" instead of "lethal injection.)

2. When you find a relevant book, click on its title and use the SUBJECT HEADINGS (in blue) to revise your search and find more information.

3. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, print books must be picked up through curbside service. You can submit a request using this form: http://tinyurl.com/USALibCurbside
