The USA Student Computer Use Policy is in the University’s Faculty/Staff Guide to Computing Services. The latest edition is at the Reference Desk and on USA’s web site at

General Information

For security reasons, the laptop connections cannot access the print system. USA students may use their TRACcards to print a saved or emailed file either from one of the workstations in Room 128, the Academic Research Center (ARC lab), or from one of the PAWS computers along the windows in the Reference section on the 2nd Floor North. Your JagCard is required to use the ARC; to use the PAWS computers you need a TRACCard with a barcode on the back.

TRACCards needed for PAWS Computers

A TRACCard with a barcode on the back is needed for the PAWS computers that face the windows on the 2nd Floor North. USA students can get a TRACCard at the Circulation Desk on the 1st Floor North. If you already have a card without a barcode, Circulation staff can add the barcode for you.
