Each department has a faculty member and a librarian appointed as liaison to discuss needs and facilitate orders. Typically, book funds are available from December through May. Faculty may call the Collection Development office (6-7033) regarding materials needed outside of the faculty member’s department or field. For course reserve rush orders and reference materials, phone or e-mail your library liaison:

You can place a rush cataloging request on items that have arrived in the library but have not yet been cataloged. These items will generally be cataloged within a week of your request. You will be notified when your request has been completed, and the item will be held at the Circulation Desk for pickup for seven days after notification.
