Finding Film Books in the University Library

Finding biographies of actors:

To find a biography or autobiography of a particular actor, enter the actor's name in the search for box. Select keyword in the search by box.

Finding film theory books:

To find books on film theory, search the term "film theory" as a keyword search.

Finding film genre books:

To find books on a particular genre of film, search the term name of the genre (for example: "horror films") as a keyword search. Limit your search to the Marx Library Bookstacks to eliminate media items.

A good search to perform to find foreign films is to use the search term "silent films." Set the search by box to "subject heading keyword" and limit to the "Instructional Media Center."
