SciFinder Scholar To find spectra using SciFinder:
For post-1967 articles, choose "Explore Substances". If you don't want to do a structure search, choose "Substance Identifier" and type the name, chemical formula, or CAS Registry number if you have it, and click "Search." Look at your results - sometimes the result for a substance will include a "Spectra" link. If it does not, or if the link doesn't include the type of spectra you need, click Get References, then limit the retrieval to "Spectral Properties". You can use topic keywords such as "uv" or "nmr" to refine to a particular technique, although this is somewhat imprecise.
For pre-1967 articles, search a Registry number, get All References, then Refine results by Date and by keyword(s) in the Research Topic option. This is less precise, but the only way to include earlier papers.
